Summary: | Objective:To observe the effect of the sling exercise therapy combined with shock wave on lumbar disc herniation. Methods:A total of 90 patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into the sling exercise therapy (group A), shock wave therapy group (group B), and sling exercise combined with shock wave therapy group (group C), with 30 cases in each group. All groups received general rehabilitation training, Group A was treated with sling exercise therapy; group B was treated with shock wave therapy;group C was treated with sling exercise therapy combined with shock wave therapy.Once a day, five times a week, two weeks in eath course, continuous treatment for two courses. Visual analogue scale (VAS) was used to evaluate the degree of pain; Oswestry dysfunction index (ODI) was used to evaluate the status of dysfunction;the clinical efficacy in three groups was compared. Results:Compared with treatment before, VAS and ODI scores of the three groups were significantly lower, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05); after two course treatment, VAS scores of group B and C were significantly lower than that of group A, ODI scores of group C were significantly lower than that of group A, VAS and ODI scores of group C was significantly higher than those of group B, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The clinical effect of group C was significantly higher than that of group A and group B, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion:The sling exercise therapy combined with shock wave has a good effect on lumbar disc herniation, which can alleviate the pain of patients, and improve the condition of dysfunction. |
