Other sites include the perineum, femoral canal, contralateral hemiscrotum and anterior abdominal wall. The inguinal approach or laparoscopy-assisted orchiopexy is used in the majority of patients. Transseptal or extra-peritoneal transposition is occasionally taken up for crossed testicular ectopia. We report successful surgical techniques for treating crossed testicular ectopia in six cases with various forms of ET. |
