description This study addresses the problem of the level of high school students in philosophy, one of the examinations for the Malian baccalaureate, in all series combined. To alleviate the difficulties encountered by these learners, it is necessary to understand the correction approaches used by teachers to manage any learning errors in the subject in question. The aim of the study is to assess the level of students in philosophy and to identify the correction models used by teachers to correct their errors. The methodological approach recommended for this study combines the use of an interview guide, a questionnaire and a philosophy test. The data collected was analysed using SPSS software and content analysis. The results show that most of the students do not have a good level in philosophy. These results also show that the corrections proposed by the teachers surveyed are not always suitable for dealing effectively with errors in philosophy. A new, more attractive didactic contract is needed to raise the level of high school students in philosophy.
