Summary: | In the reason of Nizami turning to composing lyrical masnavis, Ethe and Rypka have mentioned reasons that are not very convincing for today's sharp critic. As Rypka found the cause in the decline of chivalrous ideals, and without giving any evidence or example, Ethe mentioned that there is boredom and blurred thoughts in Nizami’s works. In this article, while analyzing the above mentioned two opinions, other more convincing reasons have been proposed. Maybe this new look can justify Nizami’s approach to writing lyrical stories. |
