Abstract
Since the adoption of the competency-based approach in the Algerian educational system in 2002, significant efforts have been made to ensure its success. This article explores the impact of pedagogical projects integrated into amazigh language textbooks on the learning of this language while investigating how teachers perceive and evaluate this project-based teaching approach. Grounded in the socioconstructivist theory, which contends that project-based pedagogy aligns with an action-oriented approach, encouraging learning through tasks that address real needs, our study is based on a survey conducted with teachers from various colleges in Kabylia. Survey results underscore the positive impact of pedagogical projects on linguistic and social performance among learners in acquiring the amazigh language. This approach provides an action-oriented perspective on learning, motivating learners to act as a means of learning. The findings highlight the added value of this approach in the context of teaching the amazigh language.
