丘鹬的生态
<正> 丘鹬（Scolopax rusticola ruticola）在苏南为冬候鸟。外形方头、大眼、长嘴、粗颈、短尾、矮脚。苏南称竹鸡,方头大（扎鸟）。每年9月下旬迁来,至次年4月上旬离去,留居6个月。据1975—1979年在太仓观察,最早见到日期为9月25日,最迟见到日期为4月4日。通常在夜间迁来。丘鹬性孤独、机警隐蔽,活动于土丘、灌丛、田野、河滩及沼泽。常隐蔽于偏僻的河边、河堤两旁的...
