Description
Summary:This study focuses on analyzing the factors that influence sustainable intention to adopt EVs. The survey involved 523 respondents who were selected through purposive sampling. This study employs PLS-SEM and fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis to analyze the data. The results from PLS-SEM demonstrate that perceived value positively influences the intention to adopt EVs. Specifically, perceived enjoyment and usefulness significantly impact perceived value. Moreover, the findings suggest that emotion has a positive effect on perceived value. Furthermore, financial incentives moderate the relationship between perceived value and sustainable usage intention to adopt EVs. On the other hand, the results from fsQCA provide more diverse combinations of dimensions that reveal potential perceived value among customers for adopting electric vehicles. Overall, the study contributes to the literature on sustainable intentions to adopt EVs and provides valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders in promoting the adoption of electric vehicles.
