| Summary: | Assessing the satisfaction of patients is essential to evaluating the quality of health-care service. The main factors influencing patient satisfaction were found in the latest research on outpatient departments (OPDs). According to the study, higher satisfaction was correlated with better health care provided by informed, supportive clinicians, availability to facilities, reduced wait times, effective communication, and personalized care. Long wait times, crowding, insufficient details, and dissatisfied expectations were some of the things that contributed to dissatisfaction. Hospitals should prioritize enhancing the environment, minimizing wait times, increasing appointments, and improving health-care professionals’ communication skills in order to increase OPD patient satisfaction. |
