description Abstract: No language is made to be static. The evolution of the community that uses it influences its evolution in one direction or another. Indeed, some languages have completely died out, others partially, while others survive and spread across the world not only with the dispersion of the populations that practice them but also and especially with the help of the economic, scientific, political, and military power of the states that defend them and that they embody. As they evolve, certain aspects of the language show another structure (morphological, syntactic, semantic...). Diachronic studies allow us to trace the path of different changes and states of the language. To conduct these historical and evolutionary researches, we refer to the ancient traces of the language under study. But in the absence of these ancient writings, we rely on the residues of ancient times by working on the variations and differences listed in the language at the level of the same speech, different regions, and dialects. It is on these latter that current diachronic research on the Amazigh language is based. Keywords: Vowel initial – variation – syntax – defined article – state of the name.
