Description
Summary:In order to solve the problem of low channel utilization in the traditional TDMA protocol,an interleaving TDMA(I-TDMA)protocol was presented, which took advantage of the long propagation delay in underwater channels and improved channel utilization by interleaving data packets in empty time axis. Moreover, the topology extension and circle synchronization schemes was adopted to strengthen the expansibility of network systems.Simulation results indicate that I-TDMA has lower delay and synchronic overhead than those of the traditional TDMA protocol, and can achieve better performance.
