Summary: | In order to improve the surface properties of the ceramsite filler to achieve the purpose of enhancing the water treatment effect of the wetland, this paper conducts carbonization modification on ceramsite to research its adsorption effect on wastewater under static and simulated-wetland operating conditions. The following conclusions are drawn: ①After the carbonization of the ceramsite, the surface porosity increases, the morphology becomes more regular, the surface is mainly convex granules, and the specific surface area of carbonized ceramsite increases by 7.43 times. ②The saturated adsorption capacity of ceramsite to TN and TP increases significantly after carbonization; ③Under simulated vertical-flow wetland operating conditions, the maximum removal rates of TP, TN, ammonia nitrogen and CODMn by modified ceramsite are 63.7%, 52.06%, 71.26% and 47.82%, respectively, which are higher than those by ceramsite and volcanic rock before modification. |
