description The article is devoted to investigating the impact of natural stone block sizes on the productivity of loading equipment used in quarry technological complexes for block stone extraction. The primary objective of the research is to establish the relationship between block sizes and the efficiency of loading equipment, using the example of PP "Kvanta-LCH". This study is highly relevant as loading operations account for a significant portion of the total duration of technological processes, and their efficiency directly affects the overall productivity of the enterprise. To achieve the research objective, a detailed analysis was conducted on the number and duration of main processes, working platform parameters, and the necessity for additional tools when using different types of loading equipment. The research results identified the key dependencies between the productivity of loading equipment and the sizes of natural stone blocks. The findings demonstrated that an increase in the volume-mass index of the blocks leads to enhanced productivity of both types of loading equipment considered, namely cranes and front loaders. It was established that the front loader operates across all block categories but has load capacity limitations, whereas the crane can load blocks from all considered categories (V-III). The article concludes that increasing the productivity of loading equipment can be achieved by rationalizing the approach to using different types of loading means for various block sizes. Thus, establishing the dependencies between the productivity of loading equipment and block sizes simplifies the technological scheme of block stone extraction and enhances the overall economic efficiency of production.
