| Summary: | In his Commentary of Jean Maitron’s Dictionnaire d’histoire du mouvement ouvrier, Edwy Plenel pointed out some régional but also some familial filiations among the militants enroled in political Movements or Trade Unions oriented to the Left. This Paper wants to reconstruct a filiation of that kind : the genealogy of our Colleague Alain Dewerpe who died to years ago, whose Father, Mother, Unkle and great Father were enroled in the Communist Party. His Uncle was executed by the German Army as Resistant in 1944. His Father died of a Head Trauma after having been hurt by the police during a Demonstration against the american General Ridgway. His Mother was killed by the Police during the Rush at the métro Station “Charonne” during the Demonstration against the OAS and the Algerian War, the 8 of February 1962. |
