description Due to the mechanism of the TTDP (Train Topology Discovery Protocol), network nodes cannot meet the application requirements of all fault recovery scenarios in the status of inauguration inhibition, including multi-node fault recovery scenarios when multiple intermediate nodes are lost or one end node is included in multiple lost adjacent nodes. Therefore, in this paper, a new node fault recovery method was designed to solve this problem and achieve full compatibility with the standard TTDP. The storage of network configuration information was realized by adding a special storage unit with an independent power supply. The node equipment was improved by setting up the node fault preparation (writing the network configuration information to the special storage unit during the initialization), identification (matching the topology count values of adjacent nodes), and recovery (calling the network configuration information of the special storage unit) processes, so as to realize the fault recovery of the Ethernet train backbone (ETB) node in the special scenario. The proposed fault recovery scheme was verified by simulation test, which confirms the effectiveness and feasibility of the method.
