Description
Summary:Conference paper at the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation on Systemic Support for Families and Children, December 6–7, 2024. The aim of this article is to explore the different levels at which change can occur in couples therapy, what determines the choice of such a level, and where the therapeutic work with partners should begin. The article places special emphasis on the therapist’s acceptance of the clients, as well as on fostering acceptance between partners — seen as the most important factor in creating a sense of safety, without which truly deep change is impossible.
