Description
Summary:The policies that can be implemented to promote environmentally friendly practices raise difficulties. According to our results, these problems result from a focus on objects. These policies must be expanded to social morphology (Mauss, 2001) and they should consider the integration of objects in existing social, political, economic, technical and spatial organisations. The paper argues that the integration of objects in the social morphology is the problem of the implementation of the current environmental policies; but it could be also the solution. In this analysis, the objects are considered as instruments in social activities. This analysis suggests that conditions and ways of action must be better considered in the development of environmental policies.
