Summary:There is a third-grade gear tooth fracture problem,when the MW-class wind power growth gear box running a year or so. The reason of the failure of the three-stage gear is analyzed from the operational,design,material,manufacturing and assembly factors. The results show that the failure of the third gear is the assembly problem of the third gear. The coupling bolt is not fastened in place,resulting in gear tooth fatigue fracture.
