Description
Summary:Studying narratives, institutions, curriculum, professional and extra-professional customs of several Palestinian social scientists currently researching and/or teaching in the northern occupied West Bank helps draw a picture concerning an academic space split according to important dividing dynamics. The main structuring split is that which differentiates research logics from teaching logics. Moreover, this feature is combined with a spatial polarisation process of academic assets which leads toward a better understanding of the interviewed social scientist's entrenchment and which further explains the different types of their involvement.
