| Summary: | The purpose of the present study is to determine the relationship between social interaction and emotional intelligence while also knowing the level of both social interaction and emotional intelligence of the research sample. The descriptive analytic approach and the social survey method were utilized in the research. To assess the level of emotional intelligence and social interaction in the research sample, a scale (Social Interaction) was prepared by the researchers, containing 37 items, and the emotional intelligence scale (Manoukh & Ali, 2011), with 33 items; both were used to meet the research's objectives and measure variables. We used the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) to analyze the data. The study found a direct positive link between social interaction and emotional intelligence, as well as a high level of both social interaction and emotional intelligence in the research sample. These findings led to the development of a collection of suggestions and recommendations.
