description In order to meet the storage demand of high-density data recording of all kinds of equipments in a vehicle, especially the video streams, a large capacity vehicle-mounted data storage device was developed. The device adopts x86 architecture CPU as the core, and carries out the peripheral function circuit expansion. It configures a power-fail protection function circuit, and selects embedded WES2009 as the operating system software of the device. The data storage device was tested,and the results verified it could meet the requirements of large capacity vehicle-mounted data storage.
