Summary:Palatal myoclonus is a rare locomotion disorder which is characterized by unintentional soft palate muscle contraction. And this condition causes rhythmical "clicking" noise in ears (opening and closing of the eustachean tube). In the present article we describe a clinical case with essential palatal myoclonus. We showed characteristics of clinical presentation, diagnostics and effective means of treatment.
