Summary:Turntoturn insulation breakdown is the final expression form of turntoturn insulation fault for the drytype aircore reactor, the partial discharge under over voltage is one of the main factors causing the turntoturn insulation damage. In order to study the rule of the partial discharge along with the development of the voltage for the drytype aircore reactor turntoturn insulation, the test platform was constructed in the partial discharge shielding room. This paper references the manufacture process of 35kV drytype aircore reactor turntoturn insulation, and make the turntoturn insulation partial discharge test model, then get the partial discharge signal with the digital partial discharge detector in the way of stepvoltage. From the results, the variation characteristics of the maximum discharge, average discharge, discharge repetition frequency, and the twodimensional phase resolved partial discharge pattern of Hqmax(φ), Hqn(φ), Hn(φ), discharge amplitude grayscale, discharge energy grayscale can be obtained under different stepvoltage tests of stepup duration.
