| Summary: | The paper examines the impact of spiritual aspects on the formation of a perfect family among the B40 group in Kuala Langat and Hulu Langat, Selangor, Malaysia and determines the relationship between religious beliefs and factors contributing to family formation. The study involved a survey of 300 respondents and utilized statistical analysis methods including descriptive analysis, chi-square test, and binary logistic regression. Most respondents (61.3%) believed in God’s destiny and provision, but a significant proportion of Buddhists were unsure (54.1%). There was a significant relationship between age and religious attributes, with Buddhist respondents being much more likely than Muslim respondents to have less faith in God’s will and providence. The logistic regression analysis found that religious affiliation strongly influenced beliefs about divine providence, with Buddhist respondents showing a 75.7% probability of expressing doubt. Based on these findings, a comprehensive family module focusing on the Kaamilah family model will be developed for the B40 community, starting with adolescent children and youth. The module emphasizes divine aspects as the foundation, followed by practical implementation and integrity in daily activities, aiming to nurture excellent individuals and pious families. These findings have significant implications for developing culturally sensitive interventions that acknowledge diverse religious perspectives while promoting family stability. |
