Description
Summary:The problem of diabetes and its complications is currently very important. The study of this question, as a mechanism for the development of vascular complications in patients with diabetes is increasingly becoming the subject of scientific research. For people suffering from diabetes blood rheology are a vital indicator, as a result of prolonged hyperglycemia in the body is undergoing significant changes directly related to the rheological properties of blood. The end result of biophysical and hemorheological changes of blood in the body is to increase blood viscosity, which reduces flow velocity under conditions of elevated blood glucose concentrations irreversible changes that affect the biophysical properties of the erythrocyte, worsening the rheological characteristics of blood and as a result gives rise to the development of stagnation phenomena, damage to the walls of the vascular endothelium and the development of vascular diseases: stroke, heart attack, micro and macro angiopathy.
