Summary:The article reveals the concept of a competitive personality as one of the key characteristics of the personality that is most necessary in modern economic conditions. Most researchers point out that a competitive person should have a set of professional qualities, qualities that define a business leader, and General personal qualities. The author notes that among these qualities must be present social and professional independence as one of the most important components of a competitive specialist. The article also provides a justification for the fact that high demand and the ability to occupy leading positions in the labor market orients a teacher with a high level of social and professional independence who has graduated from secondary vocational education institutions to achieve professional success and become a competitive specialist in various sectors of the economy.
