Description
Summary:ABSTRACT This case report presents a patient with painful post‐traumatic trigeminal neuropathy (PPTTN) following a tooth extraction, requiring re‐surgical intervention. The patient had several critical systemic conditions, necessitating the minimal use of systemic medications. This case responded favorably to the use of topical anesthesia combined with a psychological approach. Following a follow‐up period of over 12 months, the patient reported a reduction in pain. Although the pain did not entirely resolve, the patient was able to coexist with it without significant distress and reported an improvement in quality of life.
