Summary:The road traffic safety problem in all the Baltic States is still of a high priority in spite of some progress in recent years. This paper presents statistic figures characterising levels, differences and common features, trends, experience and achievements in road safety management in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Different ways chosen by transport policy makers for improving the traffic safety in every state are compared.
