Description
Summary:The youth, in contemporaneity, have been considered great technology knowledge symbols. On the other hand, they have been convoked, each time more, to improve the acquiring and uses of this knowledge. In this article we talk about part of discursive demands introduced to Brazilian youth. The analyses are based in a fieldwork performed in a public school from Belo Horizonte that offers technical education course. The methodology used to get information was a procedure of active observation. The argument developed is that curriculum addressed youth carry out a tension articulated by technology, that withstands the generation cultural demands and the gender demands. The result is a procedure of professionalization that acts with attachment to the generation demands and the transgressions of gender barriers. That argument, like the debating performed, is based in the referential studies of curricular area, gender and technical education studies.
