First, the authors present current events as a selected and constructed reality, stressing the explanatory and revelatory nature of these “facilitating” constructions. Then, they demonstrate the “facilitating” phenomenon by exploring a corpus comprised of the current events reported on French television and in the national French press after the November 13, 2015 attacks in Paris. |
