description This paper predicted the crack growth life and residual strength of typical machined wing panel based on MCCI( Modified Crack Closure Integral). Compared with the result of the test evidence,the deviation of the prediction is acceptable by the engineering application. The results show that this method could be used in the research and development phase of the new aircraft project. Otherwise,the test results also show that the feature of machined stiffened panel cannot arrest the crack well.
